Question
Are .htaccess files supported on free hosting accounts?

Answer
Yes, htaccess files are supported however, some htaccess commands are disabled for security reasons.

IMPORTANT:

Your .htaccess files MUST be chmod 644

If not your website will redirect to an error page;
